1. Colorblocking
Instead of always matching your pants with your jacket, wear every piece a different color.

2. Maxi Dresses
Everyone wore maxi dresses in summer 2011, great for those days you don't want to feel sticky in the summer heat. 

3. Capes 
They are the sophisticated poncho, just throw on a cape and a pair of boots.  

4. Coated Jeans
Jeans are a wardrobe staple, this spin off the denim classic can be worn dressed down or dressed up.

 5. Fur Vests 
Most often seen on Rachel Zoe, fur vests look best with an all black ensemble.

Gabrielle Union 

With a deep side part, her ponytail is casual and flirty.  

Selena Gomez
Wisps of hair frame her face on both sides. Her medium length pony has her own hair tied around the elastic, a trick many celebs use.  This is a nice twist on the classic side pony tail. 

Nicole Richie
Her swept up ponytail is refreshingly new. This shorter ponytail is not often seen on the red carpet. The back of the ponytail reveals her darker hair color to match her roots. 

Kristen Bell
This is a very casual look, all she did was create large waves and pin them back at the nape of her neck. She also left a few waves to frame her face.
