Fashion Trend: Culotte Shorts
A new take on skorts (shorts underneath an attached skirt) are the culotte shorts. The skirts are flowy and the shorts underneath are good for coverage when the wind blows. In the '60s and '70s culotte shorts were made wide legged shorts like these.

Fashion Trend: Gladiator Boots
Gladiator sandals have become a summer staple. Gladiator boots are a modern twist on gladiator sandals. I find these to be unpractical to wear because they come up to the knee, have cutouts and high heels. These boots are definitely for a dressy look. Since the boots come up to the knee it is best to wear them with mini dresses or mini skirts.
