I have seen pieces of shattered glass as the design on the bodice of dresses. The dresses usually have a strapless sweetheart neckline and a full frilly skirt. They are a popular selection for Prom. Is glass shiny enough to replace jewels? What do you think?

 

Fashion Trend: Varsity Jackets

Varsity jackets are the jackets that are given to members of a varsity team sport, marching band or recognition in another school activity. The jacket is typically styled in the school colors with a capital letter pertaining to the school on the front. You don't have to be in school to wear them anymore, because they have been seen everywhere from on adult celebrities to on the fashion runways.

Hair Trend: Victory Rolls

Victory rolls were a popular hairstyle worn by pin up girls in the 1940s. The hairstyle is made from pinning up hair from the sides and rolling them inwards. Then you can make it into an updo or leave the rest of your hair in loose curls. I think this hairstyle is a little too vintage for everyday wear and is better for a costume. What do you think?
